ASME A112.20.2 – Qualification of Installers of Firestop Systems and Devices for Piping Systems
This Standard establishes minimum requirements identified by industry consensus for the training and qualification of installers of firestop systems and devices for piping systems. The qualifications under this Standard are restricted to those that are required by this Standard the model building and plumbing codes requirements for firestopping developed by NFPA ICBO SBCCI BOCA ICC and IAPMO and consensus standards for piping system penetrations of fire-resistance-rated walls partitions floors floor/ceiling assemblies roof/ceiling assemblies or shaft enclosures.
